Xiaomi Mi A3 with Android One launching in India on Aug 21st

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch Mi A3 in India on Aug 21st online. Xiaomi Mi A Series are Android One smartphone which ship with stock Android Operating System instead of heavily modified MIUI Custom UI. Earlier launched Mi A2 and Mi A1 were well received in India.

Mi A3 will ship with Android P with Stock Android UI out of the box. It will get future Android Q and Android R versions as well. Since this is an Android One device, it will also get 3 years of security related OTA updates directly from Google.

Mi A3 features a 6.088 inch AMOLED display with HD resolution ( 1560x720 ). It is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. Resolution-wise, this is a downgrade from last years model as it had a Full HD display. However, the newer model feature an AMOLED screen while older one had inferior LCD screen.

Mi A1 was one of the first Android smartphones to feature a telephoto lens setup. On Mi A3, you get triple cameras on the back. There is a regular 48MP F1.7 aperture Sony made sensor along with an 8MP ultra wide F2.2 lens. It also features an extra 2MP sensor to capture depth information. On the front, you get a 32MP F2.0 aperture sensor with 4-in-1 Super Pixel tech to give you better image quality. 

A3 comes with a 4030mAh battery that should easily last a day of moderate to heavy usage thanks to a lower resolution screen it has to power. It supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and 18W Fast Charge. However, in the box, you will find a 10W fast charger only.

All in all Xiaomi has come up with another good Android One device which should appeal to the masses, especially those who wants to own a Xiaomi device, but hate MIUI.

[ FIX ] Ubuntu 20.04 Bluetooth doesn't Turn On

I have been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for a while now with my Ubuntu 20.04. Everything worked well without any issues until one day the operating system refused to turn on the Bluetooth. I could toggle Bluetooth On button from the Settings, but it did nothing.  After spending some time Google Searching why my Bluetooth started not working all of a sudden, and after trying a variety of commands to troubleshoot the problem, I finally found a working fix for this issue. Open a Terminal ( Ctrl + Alt + T )  and enter below commands one after another.  sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb That's it. Your Bluetooth issue would be now solved.  I can guarantee you this problem is going to pop-up every now and then. So copy the above commands to a text file for future uses. Sometimes, even after entering above commands the bluetooth would refuse to turn on. In such cases, just Suspend the system and then wake up it again and check.
