Amazon India has listed Huawei Mediapad T5 WiFi Only Version as Coming Soon. 16GB + WiFi + 4G variant is priced at Rs 12,999 in India. So the WiFi-only model will get a price of around Rs 9,999. This 10-inch Tablet is powered by Kirin 659 octa-core processor which is an entry-level chipset that we have seen in older Huawei devices like Honor 7X. The display is a Full HD one with a 16:10 aspect ratio. There are Dual Speakers on this tablet and comes with Huawei Histen audio tech. There is a dedicated Children's corner with which you can control which app your Kids use and how long they spend time on the tablet. It is equipped with a 5100 mAh battery.

Huawei is shipping this with an old Android operating system. Android 9 Pie is what we consider old in 2020, but the version on Mediapad T5 is older than that. It ships with EMUI 8 based on Android 8 Oreo. Strange!

Since this has an entry-level Kirin 659 on board with 2GB / 3GB ram, I wouldn't expect the performance to be top-notch. It should work well for general browsing as well as for Youtube media consumption. I wouldn't buy this tablet for graphics-intensive gaming.

[ FIX ] Ubuntu 20.04 Bluetooth doesn't Turn On

I have been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for a while now with my Ubuntu 20.04. Everything worked well without any issues until one day the operating system refused to turn on the Bluetooth. I could toggle Bluetooth On button from the Settings, but it did nothing. After spending some time Google Searching why my Bluetooth started not working all of a sudden, and after trying a variety of commands to troubleshoot the problem, I finally found a working fix for this issue. Open a Terminal ( Ctrl + Alt + T ) and enter below commands one after another. sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb That's it. Your Bluetooth issue would be now solved. I can guarantee you this problem is going to pop-up every now and then. So copy the above commands to a text file for future uses.
