DJI Mini 2 in stock on Amazon US - No Pre-orders Needed

DJI has launched Mini 2 Drone in the US at a price of $449. You can also buy the Fly More Combo for $599. It is now in stock online on Amazon.com - no pre-orders needed ( check here ).

DJI Mini 2 ( or Mavic Mini 2 ) is the 2nd generation model with improved overall specs. It can now shoot 4K @ 30fps videos while the first-gen Mavic Mini could only shoot 2.7K videos. This newer model lets you take dng raw photos as well which was missing on the first-gen model. It is still lightweight, under 250g, which means you do not need to register or get a licence to fly it in the US. 

In India, Mavic Mini 2 will be available to purchase online from Amazon.in in the coming weeks. You don't need to get a licence to fly any drone under 249g in India as well, but legally you can't fly it above 50ft. 

Like the first-gen model, the DJI Mini 2 also has a 12MP sensor. It has a 3-axis motorized gimbal built in to get steady and smoother videos and photos. DJI has equipped this newer model with Ocusync 2.0 which offers up to 10 km of HD video transmission and has excellent anti-interference capabilities.

The max battery life you can get out of the Mavic Mini 2 is 31mins. The older model is rated for 30mins - so no big improvement in that area. Mini 2 can resist level 5 winds and take off at a max altitude of 4,000 meters.

[ FIX ] Ubuntu 20.04 Bluetooth doesn't Turn On

I have been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for a while now with my Ubuntu 20.04. Everything worked well without any issues until one day the operating system refused to turn on the Bluetooth. I could toggle Bluetooth On button from the Settings, but it did nothing.  After spending some time Google Searching why my Bluetooth started not working all of a sudden, and after trying a variety of commands to troubleshoot the problem, I finally found a working fix for this issue. Open a Terminal ( Ctrl + Alt + T )  and enter below commands one after another.  sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb That's it. Your Bluetooth issue would be now solved.  I can guarantee you this problem is going to pop-up every now and then. So copy the above commands to a text file for future uses. Sometimes, even after entering above commands the bluetooth would refuse to turn on. In such cases, just Suspend the system and then wake up it again and check.
