Xiaomi has officially launched Redmi Note 8 Series in India. Currently there are two variants in the series - Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. 4GB ram 64GB storage Redmi Note 8 is priced at Rs 9,999 while 6GB ram 64GB Redmi Note 8 Pro has a price tag of Rs 14,999. Redmi Note 8 vs Note 8 Pro Specs Comparisons / Differences

Note 8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Octacore processor while the Pro version has a more powerful Mediatek G90T Gaming processor. The base model of the Pro comes with 6GB of ram and 64GB of storage. There is no 4GB ram model available. The base model of Note 8 comes with 4GB of ram and 64GB storage. 128GB variants are available for both.

In the camera department, Note 8 Pro features Quad cameras at the back. There is a 64MP main camera with F1.7 aperture lens and a 8MP Ultra wide angle lens. The other 2 sensors are 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. Regular Note 8 also has Quad cameras at the back. The main camera on this lesser priced model is a 48MP F1.79 one instead of the 64MP seen on Pro. The front camera on the Pro is a 20MP one. Note 8 has a lesser resolution 13MP sensor.

Redmi Note 8 comes with a 6.3 inch FHD+ display with 500nits max brightness. Note 8 Pro has a bigger 6.53 inch FHD+ HDR display.

In the battery department, the Pro model has a bigger 4500mAh one while the regular model has a 4000mAh one.

[ FIX ] Ubuntu 20.04 Bluetooth doesn't Turn On

I have been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for a while now with my Ubuntu 20.04. Everything worked well without any issues until one day the operating system refused to turn on the Bluetooth. I could toggle Bluetooth On button from the Settings, but it did nothing.  After spending some time Google Searching why my Bluetooth started not working all of a sudden, and after trying a variety of commands to troubleshoot the problem, I finally found a working fix for this issue. Open a Terminal ( Ctrl + Alt + T )  and enter below commands one after another.  sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb That's it. Your Bluetooth issue would be now solved.  I can guarantee you this problem is going to pop-up every now and then. So copy the above commands to a text file for future uses. Sometimes, even after entering above commands the bluetooth would refuse to turn on. In such cases, just Suspend the system and then wake up it again and check.
