Galaxy M31 - Best 2020 Mid-range Samsung Android Phone

Since we have a lot of players in the value for money, mid-range Android smartphone market in India, Samsung was steadily losing market share. In order to compete with the likes of Realme and Redmi, Samsung last year introduced Galaxy M30s with some very good, value for money specs. It is currently priced at Rs 12,999 and offered an AMOLED Full HD+ display, 6000mAh battery, and a 48MP main camera. 

Even though we do not have official sales records of this device, we can be sure this sold really well, especially since there are still a lot of people who do not want to buy a Xiaomi or Realme smartphone in India. 

In 2020, Samsung has upgraded the M30s and launched Galaxy M31. It has similar specs as M30s and is priced at Rs 14,999 currently on Amazon.in.

M31 is powered by the same chipset seen on M30s - Exynos 9611 Octa-core processor. It has the same capacity 6000mAh battery as well as the sAMOLED display. The main difference is in the camera.

Galaxy M31 sports a 64MP main camera with an F1.8 aperture lens. Older M30s only had a 48MP shooter at F2.0 aperture. It also comes with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens as well as two 5MP sensors - one for macro, the other for depth capture. 

All in all, Samsung has again put out a good, mid-range Android smartphone at a very good price.

[ FIX ] Ubuntu 20.04 Bluetooth doesn't Turn On

I have been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for a while now with my Ubuntu 20.04. Everything worked well without any issues until one day the operating system refused to turn on the Bluetooth. I could toggle Bluetooth On button from the Settings, but it did nothing.  After spending some time Google Searching why my Bluetooth started not working all of a sudden, and after trying a variety of commands to troubleshoot the problem, I finally found a working fix for this issue. Open a Terminal ( Ctrl + Alt + T )  and enter below commands one after another.  sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb That's it. Your Bluetooth issue would be now solved.  I can guarantee you this problem is going to pop-up every now and then. So copy the above commands to a text file for future uses. Sometimes, even after entering above commands the bluetooth would refuse to turn on. In such cases, just Suspend the system and then wake up it again and check.
