Redmi Note 9 Pro Max vs Note 9 Pro Specs Comparison

Xiaomi has launched two new Android smartphones in India part of Redmi Note 9 Series. We expected to see Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro models, instead, Xiaomi released Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max variants. Both of these models have a lot in common. Check out the Specs comparison and main differences between these two devices below.

When you hear a variant with Max name, you would think it as a bigger variant of the regular model. This is not the case with Note 9 Pro Max. It has the same exact display as the regular variant. Both these phones feature a 6.67 inches Full HD+, IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and are protected with Gorilla Glass 5.

Redmi Note 9 Series is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor and does not support 5G networks.

What Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has, and Note 9 Pro doesn't?

  • 64MP Main Camera - The Max variant has a 64MP F1.9 aperture main camera while regular Note 9 Pro has a 48MP F1.8 aperture lens. All other rear cameras remain the same ( 8MP F2.2 ultra-wide + 5MP F2.4 macro + 2MP depth sensor )
  • 32MP Front Camera - The Max variant comes with a 32MP front shooter while regular model has a 16MP shooter.
  • 33W Fast Charging - Even both house a big 5020mAh battery, only the max variant has the 33W Fast Charging support. The regular model supports up to 18W fast charging.
So which one to buy? Both are great value for money options in my opinion. If you want a faster fast charging phone, get the Pro Max variant as it ships with a 33W fast charger. Both 64MP and 48MP sensor should give you similar image quality, so if you are on a budget, get the regular Note 9 Pro.

[ FIX ] Ubuntu 20.04 Bluetooth doesn't Turn On

I have been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for a while now with my Ubuntu 20.04. Everything worked well without any issues until one day the operating system refused to turn on the Bluetooth. I could toggle Bluetooth On button from the Settings, but it did nothing.  After spending some time Google Searching why my Bluetooth started not working all of a sudden, and after trying a variety of commands to troubleshoot the problem, I finally found a working fix for this issue. Open a Terminal ( Ctrl + Alt + T )  and enter below commands one after another.  sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb That's it. Your Bluetooth issue would be now solved.  I can guarantee you this problem is going to pop-up every now and then. So copy the above commands to a text file for future uses. Sometimes, even after entering above commands the bluetooth would refuse to turn on. In such cases, just Suspend the system and then wake up it again and check.
